Sellebrity Soccer Charity Football Match

Sellebrity Soccer Charity Football Match

The whole team at Weston Centre Business Hub are pleased to announce we are supporting our local Sellebrity Soccer charity football match for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool.

We are looking forward to cheering Harry on when he assists our sponsored team!

The Big Event

The match will be taking place at Mornflake Stadium, home to Crewe Alexandra football club, on Sunday 1st May.

A dazzling array of famous faces will be on the pitch, giving it their all to raise money for one of Europe’s biggest and busiest children’s hospitals. Tickets are on sale now to be a witness to this once-in-a-lifetime line-up.

The Big Names

Some of the names confirmed for the match include Calum Best, hoping to emulate his father’s success on the pitch. Joining him will be Soccer AM presenter Tubes and the stars of The Only Way Is Essex – Dan Osborne and James Argent. Visitors will also get to see Jake Cornish and Luke Trotman from Love Island, as well as a quartet of EastEnders stars.

Yes, if you ever wanted to see Robbie Jackson and Max Branning square off against Anthony Moon and Lee Carter in a game of footie (and who among us hasn’t?) you’ll get your chance at this Sellebrity Soccer match as Dean Gaffney, Jake Wood, Matt Lapinskas, and Danny Hatchard join their respective teams.

There’s some footballing heritage on the pitch as well. Former Crewe Alexandra midfielder Steve Walters will be returning to his home ground. Also in attendance will be Joe Sealey from The Real Housewives of Cheshire, a former West Ham United goalkeeper and son of Les Sealey, who also played in goal for West Ham United, as well as Coventry City, Manchester United and Aston Villa.

With some time to go before kick-off, the organisers have said more celebrity stars will be announced as participating in the game.

The game will kick off at 3pm on Sunday 1st May, with doors opening from 13:30.
