Check out a few of our clients’ stories and how they’ve used different spaces at the Weston Centre.
Paulina and Tom, founders of Spoiltland.co.uk started the business from home in January 2018. Building up the growing company around the children and their jobs, they became so short on space that they had to climb over boxes to get to their bed at night!
‘I made an online chat enquiry at midnight one night and was amazed to be able to talk about our requirements and arrange a viewing for the very next day! We were impressed with the variety of workshops, trade units and office spaces being all under one roof and flexibility to change spaces as and when you need to.
With support services like contactless delivery acceptance, mailboxes and forklifting I knew it would be the right decision to base our business from here.
We loved the easy process to move in and the friendly, supportive atmosphere. We are really enjoying the workspace and the kids are super happy having gained some playspace back at home!”
We chose the Weston Centre as the offices combined with warehousing gave us everything we needed under one roof.
The team love coming to work here and its so convenient for the railway station and nearby hotels when we have visitors from further afield.
Having our office and storage based in the same location saves us so much time, has improved the communications between marketing and order fulfilment and ultimately has improved how we function.”
Mark Hurley, owner of Bespoke Flooring Cheshire wanted to create an affordable but bespoke flooring service to offer to his clientele and needed the right space for his business.
I first came to the Weston Centre having taken the step of deciding to start my own flooring business. After 30 years of working in the industry, I wanted to offer a more bespoke service, direct to clients and I needed a space to not only for storing samples and stock but also to work from and grow the business. When I arranged to come and have a look around, I was immediately impressed with how clean and well laid out the facilities were. The staff were fantastic to deal with and really understood my requirements.
Lugging carpets and samples about can be hard work so I opted for an easy access, ground floor trade unit with lighting and power.
It was so simple to set up the licence for the space and I have complete peace of mind knowing exactly where I stand each month on costs. This helps me keep prices competitive for my clients.
I look forward to coming to the unit and have made some great connections with the other businesses who operate from the facilities. It’s a great place!”
Lukasz of Sneakers Arena needed space to be able to grow and supply more fantastic footwear from his online store along with the convenience of having deliveries, collections and support services all in one location.
From our first conversation, I knew that the Weston Centre was the right fit for Sneakers Arena! Katie worked with me to find the right size storage unit to work within my budget but one that still allows me to grow and take more space when I need it. Simply having that flexibility allows me to continue my regular day to day whilst still developing our stock and supplies. I have racked out the unit so being able to pack up my orders ready for couriers to come and collect is easy and getting notified of deliveries just makes the whole process so smooth. Not only that but the community spirit and other ecommerce businesses also working within the centre have made this whole process an absolute pleasure. I will be renting another unit for a new venture we are starting this year.”
Chris Wise, Owner of Bookwiseonline.co.uk is a bargain book specialist with independent family run book shops in Llandudno and Betws y Coed. It’s a company that believes that books should be affordable and for everyone and in the current climate and seeing so many independent booksellers becoming rarer and rarer, decided adapt to the ever increasing want for online services and sell via their website as well as via the shops. This meant they needed more accessible space for all the extra stock and somewhere to pick and pack all the online orders.
I popped by one day just to have a look at the set up and was really impressed with the spaces on offer. After a brief discussion about my requirements, I was bowled over when I saw the workspace I had envisioned; giving me both a storage area and space to sort through and order all of the books we supply. The location couldn’t be better for me, next to Royal Mail, as we can literally just wheel out any packed orders through the gates directly to the depot. We can also have couriers collecting and delivering special orders and we don’t need to be here for that to happen, with the staff on site to assist. I booked the space immediately and haven’t looked back!”
